Pregnancy Yoga
Asana (postures) promote strength and stability to counteract common pregnancy woes including sore hips and pain in the lower back. Yoga postures focus on opening the hips and pelvis in preparation for birth. Diaphragmatic breathing increases blood flow to the baby and the internal organs while meditation refreshes the body and mind. Relaxation and visualization prepare one for the challenges of labor and early motherhood.
